Sand Coordinator

Chalk Mountain Services of Texas, LLC is a rapidly growing company providing transportation and logistics services to the oil and gas industry. The Company is based in Fort Worth, TX and is currently adding a Sand Coordinators for its South and West Texas operations.
Sand Coordinators are responsible for directing distribution of product at Frac Wellsite. Maximizes utilization of equipment, and drivers. Maintains sand inventory system operations business plans to include all DOT requirements and ensures DOT compliance and recordkeeping.
The Sand Coordinator is a front-line hourly position in the field organization. This position reports to the either the field supervisor (WTX) or Crew Manager (STX). This positions responsibility fulfills the basic functions of organizing, directing, and controlling frac sand product at the wellsite.
Essential Functions/Operations
- Maintains contact with drivers to coordinate sand unloading at wellsite.
- Manages interface and updates in Sandman system to provide real time info on truck arrivals and departures.
- Inputs BOL data on Sandman system to capture accurate information for billing.
- Provides continual communication with Planning and Operations teams through phone calls, email, text, and sandman system.
- Safely and efficiently moves trucks in and out of wellsite.
- Directs the resolution of operational and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays
- Ensures all field equipment is properly maintained.
- Works directly with corporate Safety team to drive safety performance
- Maintains and enforces all safety standards and procedures for all CMS personnel on wellsite.
- Sets up and enforces proper JSA with all CMS personnel entering wellsite.
- Customer interaction at both well site and through phone and email. Follows up and responds to all customer requests.
- Executes plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees
- Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 2 years of transportation experience preferred, strong communication skills, demonstrated problem solving skills, formulate solutions under pressure, the ability to pass criminal background check, MVR and drug screen.
Preferred skills include oilfield pressure pump experience, frac sand experience, transportation and pneumatic trailer experience.
